It is getting very difficult to work with this. Only 93 parts and I have to wait ~27 minutes to mirror a part. I'll probably be fixing all the drawings and extrusion and what not, for it to work a bit faster. I'm pretty sure it's the nose cone that is mixing things up.
Alrighty then. Made some dummy-headlights that will be used for the car. And I had a problem there. You see, classic Lotus 7/Caterham/Westfield cars are usually equipped with 7" headlights. And they don't fit on my car. I won't lie, I was shocked. 'Now what? New wishbones?' Thank Internet, I found out that they also use 5.75" headlights, which fitted perfectly. Doesn't look pretty, but definitely will do the job. (I'll probably get a crazy idea about headlights later, still waiting.) The lamps are not yet mounted, didn't want to fiddle around with the mounts yet. Have more important stuff to do first.
There's a cutout in the nose cone, because I didn't want the bottom part of the cone to be sticking out in the front. Mainly for two things: 1. It would look like a fat lower lip (yes, yes, I know, my lower lip is fat, ha ha.) 2. I didn't want to chop any legs in the case of an accident. So, I cut it out. Anyway, this is the spot where the number plates will go.
Made the hood as well. Now it's a separate part (learned how to use the SPLIT tool). Back panel drafts are ready.
Hmm, what else... Oh yeah, the picture. Couldn't go to Inventor Studio, because I would have taken me like three days just to access it. I'm not talking about rotating the car. So I made a snapshot of the viewport. Sorry for that. I promise - I'll fix it. So, the super HD picture. If you try, you can see that one of the two pixels is my car.
P.S. God it looks ugly at this stage...
